About TheDigitalCoy
I am a self-trained AI multimedia poet creating work at the intersection of technology and intimate storytelling. My practice explores the tension between public identity and private experience through AI-generated imagery, photography, video, illustration, poetry, and sound.
My artistic journey began with traditional media—painting, photography, and music—before I started experimenting with digital art in 2003 while living in NYC. My work evolved to incorporate creative coding and generative systems, using custom Python frameworks and GANs as collaborative tools to explore emergent narratives and unexpected aesthetic outcomes. Through my development of ValyssAI, I've been developing experiential art that is created based on global good news, research about art forms that reduce stress, and transforms personal data into aesthetic reflection—creating "Life Mandalas" that visualize an individual's journey and emotional landscape.
After years of creating privately, my early adoption of blockchain technology (crypto in 2015, NFTs in 2017) eventually led me to share my work publicly. In 2022, I minted my genesis piece, launching collections including 'Publicly Private,' 'Poems in Space Cycle,' and 'Private Poet Salon,' which have since been featured in digital exhibitions at Oculus NYC and SearchLight NFTs.
My work examines how technology mediates our most personal narratives, often drawing inspiration from ancient mythological figures like Argus Panoptes and Eros and science fiction concepts from Philip K. Dick and Neal Stephenson. I create participatory experiences that reframe AI not just as a productivity tool, but as a medium for finding meaning and purpose. Each piece invites viewers to reconsider their relationship with technology and privacy in our hyperconnected world, creating moments of reflection where the digital and intimate converge. By merging classical storytelling with cutting-edge AI, I aim to create a new visual language for expressing vulnerability in an age where the boundaries between public and private constantly blur, while the generative elements reflect the beautiful unpredictability of human experience itself.

Portraits of Argus Collection is an ongoing collection of multimedia poetry 1/1s focused on the many faces of Argus through the ages.
The visual representations for Argus Panoptes in this collection are originals created in collaboration with AI software such as DALLE-2 and Midjourney, etc.
The first 4 pieces in this collection were entries for @ClaireSilver12's first AI contest.

The Argos Panoptes Collection is my first foray into using animated visuals with music and/or poetry.
